A marathon is a sports event where you can really feel in touch with yourself. No matter how fast, how slow or even if you walk part of it. Anyone can do it. You just need to form the habit of running. Once you enjoy running 5 km, you start thinking of enjoying longer distances. The first time I ran a Marathon, I was so emotional, I cried after I crossed the finish line. One of the organizers, asked if I was in pain and I answered: No, I am crying because I feel so happy that I did it.

I am 47 years old. I have run 4 Marathons in my life, I did it more out of curiosity, rather than a challenge. I enjoy jogging, when I am jogging, I think of a million things, and I enjoy the scenery, the sensations all over of my own body

I've heard this somewhere: Running won't make you live older, it will make you live younger. This doc is touching the subject into the very deep core of what running a marathon is all about. DVD is out october 7th 2008. It's a must for every runner out there!Already pre-ordered mine!
See you guys on November 2nd for my 1st New York!

I know what you mean. Sometimes when I'm not in the mood to get out the door for a run I will watch this. Dick is so right and thats the best part of this clip..."When you cross that finish line, no matter how fast or slow...it will change your life forever."
