Hepheron - You do not die from HIV directly. It simply weakens your immune system such that you cannot fight off other infections & strange cancers that your immune system would usually handle. AIDs includes the panopoly of other diseases that occur when the immune system has been crippled. So you do not die of "AIDs" but of the diseases/cancers that your body fails to fend off. I hope that is clear.
