This headline is further evidence of the move by the west away from oil. Many muslims are going to get their wish of being left alone by the west sooner than they think.
Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology are set to announce a breakthrough in thin-film solar technology that could bring the cost per KW down to grid prices. Such a level is often considered the Holy Grail of taking photovoltaics mainstream. MIT hopes to have the tech commercially ready in three years.

For an islamic state to be achieved, governments that are islam based need to fight and win wars. Terrorist groups would only end up creating something that will be changed by assassinations by another terrorist group and that anarchy will never be resolved. Trouble is if there is a muslim nation that is created and if it fights a war it will be annihilated. So either way I think islam itself is in dire straits. The modernisation is far too late. I dont think islam will have a pretty ending.

i am sorry m8, ur the one who was stereotyping muslims and i think i was out of line with that comment but the pub culture is there in england as i have lived there so most people would take that as a complement.

There is a big difference in wars between nations which are governed by treaties and rules of engagement and so forth. Terrorism which is done and/or supported by nearly all muslims is another matter. This basically is splintering of groups into an area where there are no treaties nor any rules of engagement. So anyone ignoring this difference needs to really examine what actually they are saying. Muslims keep comparing terrorist actions with national wars which is a sign of gross ignorance.

no one is condoning the attacks in bombay but maybe u should really research into where and how much victimized muslims are..but don't worry we were doing u a favour giving you the final message of god, so that u have a favourable hereafter but soon we will have a true islamic state established. |
