OHLAWD. 1 I think you mean nu-metal, and that's just a genre, so saying who is and who isn't a particular genre means nothing of any relevance. KoRn are hard to put into one genre, they are a bit different, I like them for it. KoRn denied Slipknot to go on tour with them because KoRn thought they would steal their fan base, so KoRn fans can shut up about Slipknot because you are just butthurt.

korn and slipknot are two different bands. Again, Slipknot is NOT metal. Korn, they are somewhat metal, far more metal than Slipknot will ever be.
