Attaturk is the Father of Turkey, before him there wasn't Turkey, it was Ottoman and all the people who come from Ottoman Empire we were part of it, both the ones who becaume muslim and the one that stay Christians. As for the language you know very well the Turkish Language it is much easier to learn than Greek that is why even christian people used to speak Turkish plus it was our Official Language.

I grow up in Komotini.I am from Ottoman Empire as well but I am not Turkish (I wish I could speak Turkish though.Othoman Empire it wasn't Turkish.

I born in Greece but all my family comes from todays Turkey. I don't feel Greek or turkish I feel more Osmanly and Othoman and I have every right for that, as I my background is from Anatolia.

i think only those who are from thraki should leave a COMMENT on this section because those who are not from thraki just dont know what they are talking about... thraki's most population is turkish speaking people, and those people are turkish not greek, its about time that every one should respect this....
