Only the late P.Ramlee and his beloved wife Saloma could carry this song beautifully. Decades have passed and we've seen many talented singers have tried to sing this song but nothing compares to these two legendary singers. It gives me a chill every time I listened to this song.

Berita Harian did an article few years back about p ramli's son, Sazali, in conjuction with p ramli's anniversary. at that time, he works at dbkl and i mean he really is working as a cleaner sweeping the streets of KL.He lives alone and u can imagine his life with that kind of earnings.The most sad part is he only been receiving royalty around RM30-50 a month for his father's songs, i was shocked after nearly everyday his father's song been played.I'm sure that is not what P ramli wanted..
