I thought this movie was pretty lame. It takes years to master martial arts... and why does Hollywood have to put random white people into Asian movies? Like Tom Cruise being "The Last Samurai" of Japan. WTF?
Off Topic: the chick with white hair is very hot :-)

The movie originally was going to be an oriental kid in the US who travels to China. Sorry, the white kid was Jet Li and Jackie Chan's idea. Watch the director commentary.

Haha. 'JamTheMan4Chelsea' lol. I laughed my head off there. Whats an american doing in ancient china? America wasn't colonised til about 1500 and china wasn't that ancient by then.

wanna learn real "kung-fu"? begin to learn it since u'r 7 years' old. u'll have to learn it 2 hours everyday at least, and u now probably have no idea about what u'll have to bear. That makes a real kung-fu master with a powerful will;that also makes seldom Chinese children learnt kung-fu. what a meaningful childhood. Kung-fu is the most powerful marcial martial art around the world and it also takes 20 years at least to become a real kung-fu Master.

agreed, it seems that hollywood wont fund a film unless it has an american embassador flying their flag, even if it seems nuts to fit one in, i.e ancient China. |
