Rhymes nowadays are so predictable and so weak..The only thing that makes em slightly enjoyable are all the overkill FX and layering they do...It sound good to the cats who dont know, but for those who know whats up wit shit like this song, we know better. yeah it was expensive for ONE VID...but in truth i didnt give a shit it was worth it...I got turned on to cats like I.N.I., Group Home, all the new shit from GangStarr, KRS, shit you wouldnt see very often, if at all, on BET or MTV! Yeah I dont know whats good with CL n PR but they like bread n butter, it just aint the same. Guru doing records with this producer Solar now, he aight but he aint no DJ Premier.

I recall payin' $3.99 a pop and saw my vid play 1 out of 10 times! But those were times, rite? It would have been great for PR and CL to pull a Nas/Jay-Z, but their beef is really too intense to do that, at least right now. But Gang Starr beefin'?!! That would really be f'ed up, like Eric B/Rakim, EPMD, NWA f'ed up!

I saw Pete open for Lady Sov at summerstage last summer in 07, I was HOPING CL would hop out for at least an encore...nope! Word up they need to squash whatever beef they have and come back...I think Guru and Preemo aint on speaking terms either

u know!! If memory serves it was like $2.95 but thats' 4 beans today anyway haha! Point being, that was a pretty penny but worth EVERY one cuz there was no you tube back then...peoples need to realize how spoiled we are today...you know what I'm sayin B? Yeah, they had alot of trash, remember that cotton eye joe shit they played 50 times in a day...but also all the hot, underground shit! The box turned me on to several groups and MC's...so I gotta give em props!
