She was very controversial.. However, papa don't preach was the song on this album.. Saying that it was promoting teenage pregnancy.
The sh****t hit the fan with the Like a prayer song.. Pepsi pulled out as well as many others like Sean penn, Warren Beaty, and Dennis Rodman.
I always liked her music, but she went out there too far.

This song wouldn't have been this popular if it weren't for that controversial cross stuff. Dont get me wrong-I dont care about Jesus, but this sure was an attention getter.

One of her most emotionally driven ballads, a classic that again will stand the test of time.
To have been a part of that era, and all the critics said she'd never last, and now 25+ years, still on top of her game, and the most successful solo female artist ever, wow. She once said if being ambitious makes her a bitch,then so be it.....She sure made her dreams come true.
