Finally!! Someone's addressing the core of the problem. People of Iraq, American soldiers, and even the terrorists all are suffering in their hearts. It is this anger and frustration that need to be addressed. I always knew that Indian sprituality would bring up an answer.

Because he follows the basic principles of Hinduism. All Hindu gurus are highly passionate when it comes to humanity's suffereing. The wisdom found in the Vedas and Upanishads are timeless and captivating.

Sounds very poetic but unfortunately not applicable always. Please don't under-estimate the role of various Indian non-violence (termed terrorist by the British) movements in achieving the independence.

Mankind should learn a lot from him.

Although the download was not so good, but Sri Sri's message is very inspiring. If the people of Iraq, & other players involved feel Tit for Tat is the only solution, eye for an eye is the only solution, they only have to look into the history & see where all this has led to. Hatred, violence are never the solution, but are the problems that need solution in the form of univeral LOVE & compassion.

I'm growing in admiration of his words and deeds. He does it all so effortlessly. He seems to spot all the blind sides in people's knowledge, and expresses things so simply and wisely. He's so uncomplicated and effective.

ALthough he did not mention it. Believe me, SSRS does know the genesis of the strife and hatred in Iraq. Regardless of the origin, the residue is anger, hatred, feeling of worthlessness and depression leading to spiralling violence. And one needs to focus on treating that..semantics and causes can be debated ad nauseam
